Cheap traveling! 5 rules

Hey,

a lot of people keep asking me how do I handle with  travel expenses. How do I get the money for that? Why do i travel so often? I will try to answer all these questions and perhaps advise someone by the way :)

5 useful rules of cheap travel!

1. Always think first about which country, city or city you would like to go to, then search for the cheapest flight!

If you are  just like me,and you can only travel summer holidays, possible breaks or holidays, then search for flights long before you leave. There are many sites where you can check flights such as skyscanner, etc. However, the most popular in Poland are WIZZAIR and RYANAIR. I am a fan of the first airline :) Directly on their website you can check the flight to your dream destination. Be sure to check out the month summary. One day the flight can cost 456 PLN and the next 56 PLN.

1 A) Be sure to find out what airport you will fly from and depart from. If Modlin, then the price of travel at the airport and return is sometimes a big expense. For example, from Lublin it is 100zł (both ways).
1 B) Many airports in known capitals are also located far from the capital, so you need to know what are the costs of traveling by train / coach or by bus.

2. Where to sleep ?! Hostel or couchsurfing!

A) Most often I decide on a hostel. It is more convenient and faster to find, however, there are always these additional costs. And of course we want to limit them to the minimum! :):

- I recommend choosing the one that will be as close as possible to the center and close to the subway.
- It is best to choose 4-8 people rooms, more is not very comfortable, ( however sometimes I had no choice).
- Be sure to read all the hostel rules, such as check in and check out, if breakfast is included and if the Internet is always available.
- Don't forget to look for a hostel review and check all photos, so you won't be disappointed.

B) COUCHSURFING

So far is the best available and excellent option for all travelers! I have already used it in 3 countries (Denmark, Sweden, Belgium and soon Romania).
- You need to sign up and complete your profile.
- Search for the country and city where you bought tickets and then search for a host!
- References are important, sleep conditions, when the person was online and generally, if we have some common interests with such person :) Who knows, this can be the beginning of a long friendship for life.
- Everything is absolutely free! But you know, someday you should also host him/her :)
- It is not only a saving money, but a chance to talk in English, meet new people and new culture, etc.

3. Cooking or eating out in town!

Traveling does not involve everyday eating in expensive restaurants! Of course, you have to eat some traditional dishes several times! It's a duty, but on other days you can cook something for yourself or eg with the host you live with :) For literally a few euros you can cook a great dinner and have a tasty breakfast or lunch.

4. Walk instead of ride!

Sometimes some capitals on the map appear to be huge, and the monuments hellishly far away. However, most times several bus stops or metro stop can be converted to walk. Communication and transport are unfortunately expensive abroad, especially in countries where the euro is. 2.70 euro for the metro ride in Berlin .... I think it's better to walk instead and spend that money on something else :)

5. Do not buy souvenirs on the first stand, especially on the main street!

... it is known that prices are sometimes several times higher. A few meters away or a few streets deeper you will find the same, but for a much lower amount of money. It is best to look around. I usually buy a lot of cards, key rings and magnets, that's why I care about it :)

Domi! :)
